The Anfield team pays special attention to the young player currently playing in Ligue 1.

Klopp talks about the quality of Inter Milan

In the January transfer window, Liverpool spent 45 million euros to sign Luis Diaz from Porto. The Colombian star showed a good adaptability to the general style of play, thereby helping coach Jurgen Klopp have more options on the attacking front.

The success of the above deal has created the motivation for The Kop to continue to increase the depth of the squad. According to a source from Team Talk, the Anfield team intends to target the midfield at the next summer market and the name they are targeting is Amadou Onana – Lille player.

 Liverpool’s new target.

The 20-year-old joined the Ligue 1 champions last summer from Hamburg. Despite being quite young, Onana played quite maturely and quickly took the main kick in the French club squad. In the new shirt, he has made 31 appearances in all competitions.

All of the defensive midfielder’s contributions to the attacking front have come from the Coupe De France, with a goal and an assist in two appearances.

It was the impressive performances mentioned above that helped Onana catch the eye of The Kop. This is considered a necessary addition to the Merseyside team’s midfield because since parting with Georginio Wijnaldum, they have not yet recruited any more midfielders.
