Recently, the Arsenal homepage confirmed that striker Tyreece John-Jules will join Sheffield Wednesday club on loan for the rest of this season. The London Gunners called back John-Jules a few weeks ago after loaning him to Blackpool for the first leg of the 2021/2022 season.
John-Jules has a total of 12 appearances for Blackpool. The English star is the main scorer of Arsenal U18 and U23 teams. In March 2019, John-Jules scored Arsenal’s first team goal in a friendly match against Al-Nasr Dubai SC.
In the past few seasons, the 20-year-old tomorrow star has been given the opportunity to play in Arsenal’s first team in the Premier League, FA Cup and the 2020 English Super Cup match with Liverpool.
John-Jules has also played on loan with teams such as Doncaster Rovers and Lincoln City. “We send Tyreece our best wishes for his time at Sheffield Wednesday,” read the Arsenal website.
Thus, John-Jules is the 9th player of the London Gunners to leave at this year’s East Market. Before the 20-year-old striker, Arsenal said goodbye to the names of Harry Clarke, Ainsley Maitland-Niles, Folarin Balogun, Dejan Iliev, Brooke Norton-Cuffy, Sead Kolasinac, Pablo Mari and Karl Hein.
The London team is likely to continue to liquidate some of the next faces who no longer contribute much professionally. Bernd Leno is a prime example when the German goalkeeper only plays a backup role for Aaron Ramsdale this season.
