Tuchel: ‘We want to be the team that nobody wants to face’
As we all know, the British government has issued a fine for Chelsea. Accordingly, the European champion must suspend business such as selling shirts, tickets to the field … and not buying, selling or renewing players. Some sponsors have also canceled contracts signed with the Stamford Bridge team.
The future of the coaching staff, as well as the Blues players, is a huge question mark. Some clubs see this as an opportunity to “suck” Chelsea’s staff. Recently Sport reported, Real Madrid consider Thomas Tuchel as a potential candidate to replace Carlo Ancelotti.
Although the excellent Italian strategist led Los Blancos to come back to defeat PSG in the round of 16, receiving a 0-4 defeat against Barcelona at the weekend was unacceptable. The white vulture is still holding a huge advantage in the La Liga championship race, but there is no guarantee that Ancelotti will be “safe” next season.
The report says that Real’s hierarchy will consider the future of the former Everton captain after two legs of the quarter-final against Chelsea coming up. President Florentino Perez is impressed with Tuchel’s talent, having led the London club to win the Champions League last season.
