Karim Benzema in fitness and dribbling exercises at Real Madrid
5. Karim Benzema (Real Madrid) – 38 points
The 34-year-old striker is still showing explosive form, scoring 19 goals and 9 assists in 23 La Liga matches this season. Benzema not only puts his mark on goals, but he also contributes a lot to the overall play of the team.
Wise moves, smart passes and sharp finishes have helped Benzema become the top scorer in Europe today. If there were no injuries, perhaps the French player’s achievements would be more impressive.
4. Ciro Immobile (Lazio) – 38 điểm
Immobile has been the leader of the Lazio attack since joining the club in 2016. The Italy international has scored 174 goals in 250 appearances. At the age of 32, the former Sevilla star’s form has not shown any signs of deterioration when he has 19 goals in 22 appearances in Serie A this season. Immobile’s strong point is its good observation ability and diverse finishing.
3. Dusan Vlahovic (Juventus) – 40 years old
The Serbian star is a famous striker in the Italian league. Vlahovic scored 17 goals in 21 appearances for Fiorentina, before joining Juventus in a £68m deal in January.
Vlahovic had an impressive start in the Old Lady shirt when he scored 3 goals in 4 matches. The 22-year-old striker promises to be more explosive in the coming time, when he integrates better into the Juventus system.
2. Patrik Schick (Bayer Leverkusen) – 40 points
The Czech player resonated at the EURO 2020 finals, scoring 5 goals in 5 appearances. Schick has brought that impressive form to the Bundesliga this season, having scored 20 goals in 20 games. Performance of 1 goal/match is an extremely impressive number.
However, Schick recently picked up an injury to his left calf that forced him out of action for a few weeks. The 26-year-old striker is therefore at a disadvantage in the European Golden Shoe race.
1. Robert Lewandowski (Bayern Munich) – 56 points
The Polish killer is completely dominant when he has 28 goals in just 24 appearances in the Bundesliga this season. With good positioning, wide range of shots, and backed by a host of quality satellites around, Lewandowski is simply unstoppable.
